Organized Chaos Unraveled...

This evening while I was making dinner I realized how incredibly disorganized all of my current projects are. I mean, I've got each project in its own ziploc baggie...but I have no idea how many projects I've got going all at once.
So this is my pathetic attempt to situate myself to complete all of them. We shall see how far I get lol. But I really think that there is no such thing as an organized knitter. It's an urban knitting myth.

On with the great project organization & prioritizing!

6,611 people are ahead of me...

On the Ravelry invite waiting list. I am sad that it is going to take so long for an invite. I mean I know its a beta and everything...but still. I want it now damnit! =( I guess I'll just go drown my sorrows in my fair isle neckwarmer for one of my many sisters.

Fair Isle + KT = Heaven

Obviously from the title of this post you can figure out I have a new love. Fair Isle. And let me tell you it is going to be a torrid affair!! The only thing though, is that I want to create my own patterns. knitpro.com is great and all but I don't want to just take a photo and turn it into fair isle/stranded knitwear. So off I go to the pits of Microsoft Excel. Which incase you didn't pick up on my 'oh so subtle' hint, i abhor Excel more than you could imagine. =/
Perhaps I can be smart enough to figure out how to post my designs from Excel. Hrm... help anyone? lol

The Post Holiday Knitting Blues...

This past Christmas I think I may have been insane. And when I say that, it is due to the fact that I chose to try and knit a gift for every significant family member. I made two felted purses of my own design, a crocheted scarf, felted wool beads, a glitzy dickie/cowl style scarf and an iPod Nano case. I also hand wrapped all of said gifts. Sadly however, I failed to make a 3rd felted purse, a seed stitch scarf and some cotton dish towels. lol Go figure. So now that I am finally recovering from the insanity of it all. I can now work on some simple but fun projects.

Here are some of the projects I finished. Sadly however I do not have any FO pictures to show since I ended up giving the gifts away! Those that got the hand made gifts know to send me pictures of themselves using their item(s). So hopefully I will be getting those via email soon enough. =D
